Original artwork description:

Returning once more to my favourite walk along the river Tardoire last Autumn, the sun was low in the sky casting a shadow of the giant Plane tree on the carpet of leaves. The dark evergreen yew trees more than a thousand years old created a dramatic backdrop, which I have tried to capture in this watercolour.
This is the first of two pictures inspired by that visit. Both are the same size and sold framed and under glass with a mount and backboard.
The picture will be extremely well packaged to ensure it arrives safe and sound.
It is painted on Arches 100% cotton watercolour paper with Winsor Newton professional watercolours.

Materials used:

watercolour, paper
