Original artwork description:

My past career was working with horses, in this painting I was trying to express the sensation of being around horses. The murky nature of the colours fits in with how I'm looking back into the past and to create a sense of something that is difficult to describe. I painted with my fingers because that felt the most natural, working with horses is a very tactile job and it's my hands that know them the best.

Oil and cold wax medium on wooden panel, the edges are painted black.

Materials used:

oil and cold ax medium on cradled wooden panel
