A dreamy image of a woman's profile, her intricate veil flowing in a dark landscape illuminated by a glowing tree.

Painted in acrylics on unbleached linen board, with highlights of richly coloured Sennelier oils pastels.

I painted this while listening to Enya's Watermark album, particularly three songs: Exile, On Your Shore and Evening Falls. Enya comes from the Northwest of Ireland as I do and I identify strongly with her lyrics.

Available unframed but ready to hang with little hangers that I have attached to the board (see photos).
