Original artwork description:

This is one of a series of paintings which are basically still life - painted from a tableau created in the studio which feature one of my own paintings in the background - in this case part of a large watercolour mountain scene. Wooden bricks, the toy car, some pebbles, a scarf for a river and model figures complete the scene. What is the story here? Is someone missing in this harsh and unforgiving landscape? If so they're not making much effort to find them - they seem curiously rooted to the spot.
