It's a labyrinth, a massive maze with far too much of everything, but I love the Louvre and always fit in a visit whenever I am in Paris. People watching can be as interesting as art watching, and I sketched a few wanderers and dreamers on my last visit. This was a scene I worked up into a painting when I got back to my studio.
The painting is framed with a simple black wooden moulding.
