The modern watercolor painting "In the Kazbegi Mountains. Georgia" was painted from nature during my 2019 cycling plein-air tour of Georgia.

Having driven a little from the city of Stepantsminda along the Georgian military road towards Tbilisi, I stopped for a few days with a ward in this picturesque area of ​​Kazbegi near the picturesque Terek River.

The places here are incredibly beautiful, a picturesquely meandering river, low clouds and fogs, blue mountains in the background create a very beautiful composition.

There was a pre-storm state of nature, it inspired me and I tried to convey in colors this tension in the air before the thunderstorm.
The work was painted by professional watercolors Maimeri Blu on 100% cotton watercolor paper 300 g/m2, which guarantees the durability of the preservation of the work under proper storage conditions, decorated under glass.
