Forest Light is an imaginative and atmospheric ,semi abstract painting loosely based on a forest in the Highlands where I used to go for long walks. It was inspired by the need for us to plant more trees and forests as well as conserve our existing forests and woodlands. It's a very textured piece created using watercolours and gouache with a touch of inktense on a gessoed, tissue and board substrate.

Initialled on the front, signed on the back with a certificate of authenticity.

The painting will be in an antique white mount and framed in a dark blue stained wood frame but can easily be reframed by a buyer in a frame of their choice. For online display purposes only one of the images shows a black digitally created frame.

Please note that the colours of the original may be slightly different to what you see on your screen owing to the varying configurations of individual computer monitors and other equipment.

If more than one painting is purchased they will be packaged together for posting and the shipping charge adjusted accordingly.

All paints used are professional artist's quality. Paintings are mounted in professionally cut acid free conservation mounts.
