Original artwork description:

This painting further explores the Tahitian Convict narrative, but with a more worked and textural surface, and a more naive tribal character than the Tahitian convict paintings and drawings. This painting is also influenced by my childhood memories of Papua New Guinea, and by the tropical jungle landscapes that have surrounded me on and off during my life.

The painting is painted on a deep edge canvas, with d-hook hangers and wire for hanging.

The painting is painted with a combination of different acrylic paints with different qualities, including Jo Sonja art paints, Golden Paints and Atelier interactive paints.

The painting will be packed with cardboard corners in a reinforced cardboard flat package with bubble wrap to protect it.
