In The Eye Of A Hurricane _x000D_ _x000D_ This represents a person with a darkness surrounds them that no light penetrates through. The hopeless misery engulfs their internal thought process. They can’t help but pull in their surroundings like a hurricane but they seem calm when they do it. This is why it is named this way. In the eye of the hurricane there is calm with no storm but if you are there you know a storm is coming. A huge storm. I’m a London-based artist, and my work often reflects vivid and surreal imagery inspired by my unique experience with REM intrusion—a condition where dream-like visions can appear while I’m awake. My paintings explore the boundary between waking reality and the dream world, using layered compositions to create a sense of depth and movement. I paint with high-quality materials and put a lot of thought into texture and detail. My process is a mix of intuitive brushwork and deliberate layering, aiming to create pieces that are rich in emotion and invite you to see something new each time you look at them.
