The idea for this long, farm landscape came from the very flat, rural landscape that surrounds me here in the American Midwest. I painted an iconic, old red barn as the central subject of this simple country painting. I paint from my imagination, in a series of many layers, to create my original, country landscape paintings. The gallery wrapped, sides of this 3/4 inch deep, stretched canvas are painted dark green to match, and this piece comes wired and ready to hang!
