My favourite place in the world is not of this world. I journey to this place when I am still. The darkness fills with light and I bathe in the timeless void where I am connected to the whole through ever expanding awareness. The ancient spiritual texts of the Vedas call this ultimate reality Sat-Chit-Ananda. Sat means existence or being, Chit means consciousness and Ananda means bliss. It's an experience of peace and joy mostly because it’s outside the stressful realm of time. It’s an experience of complete openness, freedom and peace. Despite being a Taurean, my moon is in Leo so I often feel lion energy. Medidation has been a useful aid for me over the years. It is like medicine for the mind. When I close my eyes and remain still I arrive at the brightest dark.
