Listening to music whilst I work is extremely important in helping my creative sensibilities. The song In Spite of Ourselves by John Prine was a starting point in helping me create this work which contains complex messages of our place in the world.
The method used is etching on three copper plates with soft ground and sugarlift aquatint.
Materials used:
Oil based printing ink and Somerset Satin paper.
