Original artwork description:

acrylic colour on Fabriano acid free cotton paper 19.5 x 28 in., 49.7 x 71 cm.
This is inspired from my love of the slipper orchid as much as my love of the feel of the forest. The style is expressive and paint is thick on this lovely cotton paper and for me reflects the thick air and complexity of textures found in a forest.
The close up pictures give a better sense of the paint and brush stroke. Then there’s the work in progress and me with the painting for perspective.
