Artwork description:

more and more of us are thinking that we can contribute to rewild our planet, creating habitat for all kinds of life, how beautiful is that?

A large blue and white linocut looks deceptively simple, but can actually be right there with the most difficult, to make an image really work when you only have 2 "colors" means you have to look at things in a different way. I hand carve the linocut plate, and it is great fun to add all the details to really get the beach feel. This is not the garden we are used to really, it is more wild and wonderful with birds, badgers and all kinds of animals!
I use a fantastic printmaking paper, crisp white with a velvety surface, heavy weight, and the best waterbased ink.
All my linocuts are handprinted by me, the artist,
and I sign, title and number each print.
"In our wild Garden" is printed in a short edition of 75 prints,
you might not receive the number seen in the photograph.

The linocut itself measures 16" x 23", (40cm x 60cm )
and the beautiful piece of clear and crisp white printmaking paper
printmaking paper measures approx 27" x 20", (70cm x 50cm)

Linocuts are wonderful graphic pieces of printmaking, that can make for a real focal point in your room, you are so welcome to ask me about framing advice etc.

I'll mail your linocut to you protected by tissuepaper and cellophane, it comes with a flier explaining what a linocut is.
If you have any questions just get in touch..... that's what I am here for!

Thanks for looking and welcome back.
