This painting is decidedly a throwback to the type of Images I was painting years ago, when I lived in Collioure, France; on the. Mediterraneans just above the Spanish Border. The moment We Moved there, I found the Scenery surrounding me, showing up in my paintings, over and over… Well, probably because in a few weeks time, we’ll be heading back to visit Collioure, it’s been on my mind. This painting began by my coming across a large painted sketch of some Flowers, that I decided to cut out and incorporate. I embellished by painting some additional flowers into the scene. This Canvas is painted around the edges, so it can be hung, unframed if preferred.
