Original artwork description:

I made this work on a canvas, I painted a base with different colors spread with the spatula, I traced with the chalk the draft of the painting and only then I started to paint with oil paints.
I use oil paint by superimposing many thin layers of color properly diluted to create the effects I want.
I represented three objects of ancient memory tied together by an iron wire, they are objects worn out by time of different materials and now fragile.
While I was painting this work I was thinking about the charm of old things, how many memories they bring with them, but at the same time I was also thinking about their fragility.
I arranged these objects in a circle as they rotate and stand very close to each other so as not to injure each other irreparably, among them is the cup that is somehow protected by the jug and the aluminum container ... or maybe not, they are about to collide ... only the viewer can choose the ending!
I entitled the work IN COMPAGNIA because only with others do we feel protected.
I took these objects out of their context to put them in a new dimension, that of peace!

The series SOSPESI (SUSPENDED) is the new series that I started to paint in 2022, with this new series I want to reflect on the suspended moments that life puts in front of us, I want through art, to overcome the barrier of time, to give value to every moment.

The work does not include the frame to create even more the sense of freedom.

The work is signed on the front and back and will be accompanied by certificate of authenticity

for shipment outside the EU must wait for authorization of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and this could lead to the delay of a few days
