The Isles of Scilly are located off the Southwestern tip of Cornwall, England, and is an area that I have been visiting regularly since 2014. The islands are all composed of granite rock. and due to the climate - it’s the warmest place in the British Isles - there is a huge variety of flowers and plant life on the Islands.

My ‘Impressions of Scilly’ series combines the geology and flora to create images that capture texture and vibrant colours of these two natural elements of the Islands.

The image is created 'in camera' using a mixture of multiple exposures and camera movement to create a unique and impressionistic final image.

I print on 100% cotton 315gsm fine art paper, which has a beautiful matt finish paper with a gentle surface texture and bright white base that thoughtfully complements the photograph.
