Blending shades of colours loosely applied to canvas, make an expressive, semi-abstract painting that still retains an impressionistic feel. This artwork is characterised by intensive colouring in the tones of purple, yellow and turquoise with just a few applications of green, cobalt and ultramarine. An emphasis is put on expression, motion and emotion, rather than on the subject matter. It is derived entirely from artists imagination.
