Interior painting “In the mountains of Kazbegi. Georgia” was drawn on the basis of sketches from nature during my cycling plein-air travel across Georgia in the fall of 2019.

The work depicts the Kazbegi area. After cycling a little from the town of Stepantsminda along the Georgian military road, I set up my tent at the foot of the mountains overlooking the picturesquely winding Terek River and every day I drew these views from nature.

When the locals found out that I had put up a tent there, they said that wolves and jackals are found in these places, after that at night it was a little scary to leave the tent.

The work was painting by professional Italian watercolors Maimeri Blu on 100% cotton watercolor paper 300 g/m2, which guarantees the durability of the preservation of the work under proper storage conditions, decorated under glass.

All the funds raised from the sale of my paintings are used to make my dream of a mobile workshop based on a minibus come true. Now I travel the world on a bicycle, it is very exciting, but for greater productivity I need a minibus in which I will live, travel and paint.
