When I was a child, I lived in a french country which is called : the Beauce. It's a farming region, very flat, very monotonous... for those who do not know how to see !
For me, this monotonous landscape was extraordinary, because we could always see the immensity of the sky...
When I paint an imaginary landscape, I always think, unconsciously, of the Beauce, of the huges skies of my childhood
