Original artwork description:

Treatment of the figure has varied throughout my art. This feels similar to the shaped painting series. The figure is a contained shape. It's stamp-like and place-holding. In this new series, I'm treating the backgrounds like I do with smaller works. A simple fade of tone or point of light. I've also always loved floating, falling and rising figures. I've chosen the royal ultramarine blue as the primary background color.
