'I'm Not In Any Hurry'......is an original pencil and ink drawing on hand stained paper measuring 200mm x 140mm in size......I tend to work to the marks made in the staining process when I'm working on a piece...the shapes and tones within the stain lend themselves well to a story unfolding and I can visualise the finished work before I've begun.......In this work, I love the calmness of the cat sitting unnoticed beside the little gathering of chattering birds...what on earth might happen next....?
