Original artwork description:

The second oil painting in a series of three or a triptych of painting which paint the rustic gate overlooking the beautiful ford at Ilston in Gower Pensinusla. The gate leads up a rocky path to a disused quarry.
In this second painting I loved the cool blues of the gushing water compared to the warm greeny oranges in the background. I like this juxtaposition and the teeming crashing movement in contrast to the country peacefulness of the rest of this rustic scene, the straight urgent lines compared to the wistful sun catching curves of the trees behind.
