Original artwork description:

This watercolor painting was made during my Trans-Siberian trip in 2019 and depicts the Lake Baikal Train, that carries locals and tourists along the southern shore of the lake. At each stop a throng of tourists pour out and spill over the landscape. The Chinese tour groups in particular climb over every object like a wave of ants and capture every moment on their cameras and phones. They shove and jostle and don’t mind sharing the frame with anyone around them. All the other tourists wait from a distance for a moment of calm to take their own solitary photo.

In 2020 this painting became the official image of the 10th "Matite in Viaggio" exhibition in Venice, Italy

The painting is done on quality Canson Watercolor Paper (42 x 29,7 cm / 16.5×11,7″; cold pressed, acid free) using high grade professional Winsor & Newton and White Nights paints which guarantee extra durability and colour protection.

The painting will come signed, dated and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.

This piece will be shipped flat, unframed, protected by 2 sheets of cardboard, wrapped in a bubble wrap and will be packaged in a reinforced envelope.
