The powerful energy that permeates the night.

Each of my oil-on-canvas works is a long search that must respect the drying times of the colors, starting with color backgrounds and then removing, digging, etching, until I find the essence of the painting, with a unique technique I created after much experimentation.
In this painting the browns, reds and ochres of the earth are marked by incisions that recall our ancestral need to leave a mark. The surface, characteristic of my technique, is not as textural as it might seem: if one caresses the painting one discovers it perfectly smooth.
