Ikimina cy'ababyeyi is a little financial group that aims to elevate each woman who is in that group financially. All they do is to make some agreements of when and where they have to meet each week, how much is one share that will be deposited each week or month, how much percentage you will benefit to each loan you are given, and the exact time you will pay all the loan and its interests, to set a financial penalty to whom breaks the agreement of the group, and they vote their leaders. They look like a small bank among a little group of people, ikimina is now going viral in the country and it might come from our neighbor country Uganda, as the name ikimina is a ugandan word.
Women are more likely to attend ikimina, they are even the financial groups ( ikimina) of women parents only.
