Japanese art is inherently abstract and I found inspiration in the traditional Japanese flower arrangement. My idea was to show it as a semi-abstract image, reminiscent of an origami flower. Dainty lines describe the orchid and its stems, against a background of contrasting colours. A small homage to the East in the West.
