Should I title this photograph as embarrassment or false position or nonplus or quandary or dilemma or ………. Let me explain. I was in Maasai Mara, Kenya, spending some precious time alone with two bull giraffes that were duelling the giraffe way to establish which one was more dominant. It was quite classical for a while – take positions, hit the flanks of your opponent with your head and neck, withdraw, take positions, repeat….. But, after a while things went wrong when entanglement happened and the result is what you see.

Since I was alone and the giraffes were very relaxed with my presence, I was able to get low down and compose for this decisive moment of Imbroglio.
