I've been proposed by Al Johnson (a friend of mine who's an artist as well), to paint something around that very nice music of Pat Metheny - If I Could-
I've been working listening to it few times, and all fell in place magically. So this is what has happened, a colourful painting, like a dream landscape.

This series of paintings is called "Flirtation with reality".
It's an evocation of nature and countryside, an evocation of natural landscapes, I made the realism more obvious than in the other paintings, pushing further the borders between abstraction and realism.
The hues used are less flashy, less colour contrasted (the transitions between colours are more subtle), tinted with a touch of melancholy. I want it more romantic, with a lingering feeling of nostalgia, but in a poetic way.

MATERIALS:
"If I could..." is painted with acrylic paint on strong cardboard coated with gesso, and it will be delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
