I like to stand beside the estuary particularly at high tide and just close my eyes…..

With my eyes closed tightly my perception and connection to the environment around me changes . Suddenly the sound of sea birds, of the waves and all that is happening around me becomes magnified. I am more aware of the smell of the sea and the taste of the salty air. My mind starts to create its own images of the rushing tide especially on wild and windy days.

This artwork has been created on a box canvas and has painted white sides. It is signed on the back and the sides and fitted with chord so all ready to hang.
