Metal and glass sculpture representing an idol.
This sculpture is made of steel lace and molten glass.
The metal lace is obtained by dripping by melting steel, which guarantees that each sculpture is unique. The glass paste is created by melting the glass in a mold.
Out of the depths of our archaic memories, this idol looks at us from the top of its 5000 years. Initially made of stone, multiple times reproduced, it stimulates in my hands a form of inspiration and humility. So ancient and so modern, timeless, feminine, it sublimates the metal lace or molten glass. Meeting with its collective past and a creative vision of the future that allows us to savor the present moment.
