This is the Perrine bridge that Evel Knievel made famous by trying to jump over it with his Skycycle...in 1974. He nearly made it but the parachute opened prematurely.
Below the Perrine Bridge is the Snake River Canyon. Since I'm nervous around heights, I prefer to be down below, looking up. The rock formations are wonderful, varied, and colorful. The river wends its way through the gorge.
I cut this image out of linoleum, inked it up with oil-based ink and printed it on Strathmore paper. Then, I colored it in with watercolors.
