as a new immigrant in Israel, Tel Aviv, there were many expression or slang that were not obvious to me. i still learn, after 4 years.
In hebrew we say third time ice cream, which originally comes from the expression from english (UK) third time i scream...
as you may understand you can easily get lost in translation from one country to another and their appropriations of language.
By the time, Elections of the knesset were approaching, and as many Israeli we had the fear of having the same prime minister again.
as i am writing now (first january 2020) the election happened one, twice, three, and again in a few months to hopefully get a new prime minister.
Also, if you look into my work, i generally talk and try to make more people aware of climate change. ice cream to me is a metaphor of biggest problems we are facing, and will have to deal with concerning temperatures raising, and different consequences.
i wanted to "froze" this idea into a sculpture, that would look very casual, and invite viewer to have their own reflection about each subject.
acrylic painting, pigments, polyurethane foam and wood
