Original artwork description:

Pen and acrylic color on handmade thai mulberry paper(kada sa), deckled edged, 8 x 11.5 in., 20 x 29 cm.
Here’s a fun item I outlined years ago…. Then misplaced. So finding this brought pleasant souvenir for me of a time I lived in Singapore. Of course that city evolves so fast, I’m certain the ice cream carts are no longer there.
I use a traditional mulberry paper handmade in Thailand. It’s a parchment like paper, strong yet pliable. I have the paper made to this size to get the uneven deckled edges which adds to the textural effect.
The close up picture is of higher resolution to be able to get a feel for the texture and brush strokes of the painting.

Please note that you can purchase up to 3 paintings of this same size or smaller in 1 order to be included in the same 1 shipping fee.
Packaging for my small paintings like this one is sealed in plastic sleeve, sealed in a padded hard plastic file case, and in an envelope.
Interested to have your idea painted in this style? Maybe a storyboard collage from a recent travel, your neighbourhood or street? Contact me.

About framing this painting.
When considering framing bear in mind to not cover up the deckled edges. This is one of the specialties of the painting, one of its charms. It is best displayed framed with a cut mat board around the painting so as not to cover the edges, thereby putting some space between the art and the glass and bringing depth to the framed art. It can also be framed simply with backing board and pressed with glass over the front without causing damage.

Materials used:

acrylic colour, pen
