About this artwork
Lockdown means there is so much that we long for. I was thinking about all the times I've walked along a seafront enjoying the heat, sights and sounds in so many countries, from Miami to Sussex. For me, it's the simple things I've missed, all that used to be so easy, waiting to be treasured.
I'm a huge fan of Kandinsky and also the wonderful work of one of the first abstract artists Hilma af Klint.
I don't seek to copy but to use this knowledge as inspiration in my own work.
There are two paintings shown, this listing is for one painting, please check out my gallery for the second painting, they work well as a diptych and can be hung in any orientation.
