Everyone is allowed to get angry now and then. It's important to take that anger out in constructive and not destructive way. This is a moody and raw abstract that was done during a time of turmoil and upheaval. It is acrylic and mixed media on a gallery profile wrapped canvas.
It is signed on the front and back along with the title and date created.
I name my pieces by what occurred while painting the piece. What moved me, what struggles had to be overcome, my mood, my train of thought, what the piece reminded me of, sometimes a song that was on and the beat moved me or the lyrics influenced me in some way. Some pieces are named clearly with a bit of humor. I never intentionally start out a painting saying “I’m going to do this, or I’m going to do that”. All of my pieces morph into something that is totally surprising and unexpected.
acrylic, gesso, charcoal, marker, graphite, pencil, paper
