Out for a wander, one's mind begins to wonder.
'I went for a walk today' is an absurd piece. However, it contains a narrative that is rooted in our reality of keeping up appearances and of subsurface emotions.
The painting depicts a man wrapped up warm for some brisk fresh air. Engaging with the outside world, his personality takes shape. Whether the head is considered a heart motif or something more suggestive, it regardless communicates the man's inner being. It describes his thoughts and insecurities; his love, desires and perversions.
