Original artwork description:

2024 - Oil on Gallery Wrapped Canvas –20H x 24 W x 1.5 Inches and ready to hang
This oil painting, encapsulates a cherished memory from my youth. As the school year drew to a close, a group of us would excitedly venture to the nearby amusement park. A particular tradition made this trip even more thrilling - for each "A" earned on our report cards, a free ride awaited us. Contemplating this nostalgic experience, I am torn between two immense joys: the elation of receiving a complimentary ride and the thrill of embarking on a summer vacation. Through a delightful fusion of realism and a more painterly style, this artwork aims to capture not only the vibrancy of the amusement park but also the emotive essence of those unforgettable summer days.

Signed and dated by the year and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

READY TO HANG: Stretched on heavily textured 1.5” deep gallery wrap canvas. Wired and ready to hang. No framing necessary. 20 H x 24 W x 1.5 Inches

MATERIALS: Oil painting on canvas. The artist aimed to recreate the smooth glass-like quality of some classical paints while still giving it energy. This piece was created with finely-ground, pure oil paints with an Alkyd based medium.

ARTIST: Dennis Crayon’s art is coveted by collectors and art investors around the world. His work is featured locally as well as nationally. Dennis earned a diploma in painting from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and is an active member of Washington D.C.’s artistic community
