I made this for a contest called "why I love Miami"- and I won!! Here is what I attached to the painting, to describe how this painting depicts what I love about Miami...

I love 305 for its beautiful, serene nature as well the vibrant, colorful, bold, and energetic feel that makes this city so special. The bright blue skies and green foliage immediately attract the attention of every visitor to the Magic City, but the energy I feel from the different the cultures that come together to make up our city is what I truly love most. When I walk on the sand of South Beach, hustle through the commotion of Brickell or stroll through Wynwood, I feel a vibe that is unlike anything else in the world. It makes the sun shine even brighter and the palm trees seem all the more majestic.
