I Just Didn’t Want Him To Leave

I am interested in capturing human emotion and interactions by representing expression and gestures through the use of paint, colour and mark making. At the same time I hope to interact with the viewer by creating works that they can relate to or empathise with on a personal level.
The works are intended to portray fleeting moments, the expression of the subject offering us a glimpse into their innermost thoughts. The works can be interpreted as part conversations, part musings, into which the viewer is drawn willingly or not into the world of the subject, both in a voyeuristic and complicit way.
This painting is shipped stretched and ready to hang with fixtures on the back of the stretcher. It is signed on the back of the canvas. Paintings are securely packaged and shipped with a tracking number.
