Original artwork description:

This is the eighth and final sin of the collection of eight paintings inspired by the seven deadly sins. "I BALCONI DI PALAZZOLO" is the image of an uncounted sin but which we all carry within us: free will. The painting is the abstract image of a street in Palazzolo Acreide, a Sicilian town rich in baroque architecture famous throughout the world and a UNESCO heritage site. This street was full of small baroque balconies with railings and full of colorful geraniums. Suddenly a woman appeared, looked along the street, called someone and then went back into the house. In that street and in that woman I saw the genesis of all sins: that free will that was given to us and that perhaps, in everyday life increasingly makes us choose what we consider to be a capital sin. But do deadly sins still exist? The collection of which the painting is part is called "DELLA LIBERTÁ" and was exhibited in Caltanissetta in the exhibition CORRISPONDENZE IMMATERIALI"" from 2023, September 23 to 2023, October 14.
