This is an original painiting done in Feb 2023 in Pontoise.
It's a continuation of another work with alpacas.
This one is about one's anguish but also serenity in darkness which symbolizes dark times.
The main subject is a young alpaca, looking intensely in the dark, to find its way out.

I would like to convey a message that there's always a way one might not see immediately.
There's always a connection to hope..
This piece explores the idea of finding illumination and guidance even in the darkest of times, and remind us that there is always light to be found if we are willing to look for it.

Done with acrylics on linen canvas. All sides are finished, please see all images.
The glowing luminous effect is created by using contrasts.

Please note, the painting does NOT glow when put in darkness
