'Hymn to Your Grace' is a mixed media collage/assemblage presented in a glazed, soft wood box frame. The image is 15cm x 15cm, with the framed size at 19cm x 19cm. The box depth is 3.5cm. This piece is one of a series of three assemblages created around the theme of ‘Hollywood – the Golden Era’
The artwork combines the texture of tissue paper, canvas fabric and threads, together with pictures of Doris Day taken from promotional images of the time, found objects and acrylic paint rubbed into the surface.
