Painting flowers is a meditative process for me. I like to paint flowers when there are a lot of anxious moods around because flowers for me are a symbol of life and peace. The painting process brings me back to a harmonious state.

This time, hydrangea became my subject and inspiration. It is an absolutely amazing flower that reminds me of groups of people. Large inflorescences with many flowers are like a society with many people. And everyone wants to know, consider, and all together they form a puzzle of an integral flower, no less wonderful than each small flower separately...

The artwork was painted with professional oil paints on Italian linen canvas and covered with a protective varnish.
