Inspired by the pigeons in my garden this semi abstract bird painting gives the viewer a worm's eye view of two woodland hunters.

This lively piece has been painted on a H24 x W18 inch canvas using acrylic paints and mixed media, it is layered and textured and sealed in a thick coating of gel then varnished. It is ready to hang and doesn't need framing.

I know not everyone is keen on pigeons but I like them, I love how they move and put on a grand performance when trying to impress a potential mate and I love their little beady ornage eyes. I also love how international they are and found in many different countries. So this is a painting for pigeon lovers only! ;)
