Original artwork description:

An original painting created in spray paint, acrylic, pen and ink on a large box canvas which is ready to hang unframed.

Inspired by my travels in Mexico, I created this piece as a tribute to Frida Kahlo whilst incorporating the dia de los muertos aesthetic as a celebration of her impact on women in art even after her death. The piece is created using multiple layers of freehand painting and spray painted stencils.
