Series: Hummingbird in Flight
Hummingbirds never fails to win me over with their spritely charm. Appearing in an instant, they manage to capture and fly off with your attention as quickly as they enter the scene.

I love hummingbirds because they can fly like Peter Pan, in all directions, even upside down and backwards. This painting represents the movement, colors, and energy of a ruby-throated hummingbird.

Rhythmic dots depict the staccato of vibrational sound and the whir of fleeting movements. Pools of color are pulled in from the outer edges; the surroundings appear to blend and integrate with the bird. This is part of a series of hummingbirds in flight.
