Original artwork description:

This oil painting is inspired by some beautiful prints I saw in an exhibition about Humboldt the explorer, which was full of South American landscapes. The distant white peak refers to Chimborazo volcano. I have imagined a tropical still life in a cool shady interior with some surreal objects and fruits that cast their shadows in the strong light.

This painting is painted in oils on canvas on a stretcher and is ready to hang.
