"human nails VIII" is a meditative exploration of the spiritual transformation of the human being. The sculpture stands on a grounded wooden base—symbolizing roots, the past, and a deep connection to nature. Above it, a delicate, almost weightless figure emerges, composed of countless nails that form a cascading veil, enveloping the essence of human existence.
Nails, traditionally tools of fixation, here lose their rigid function and become a vibrating mantle of energy and change. The figure seems to hover between materiality and dissolution, as if transcending the physical form into a higher dimension. The minimalist, almost abstract head appears as a source of consciousness, floating above the dense mass—a symbol of enlightenment, of the pursuit of something greater.
This sculpture invites contemplation: Where does the body end, and where does the soul begin? What remains of us when matter fades? "Human Nails VIII" reflects the eternal cycle of being and dissolution, reminding us of both the fragility and the infinite expansiveness of our existence.
