This sculpture perfectly embodies the essence of Manfred Hellweger's artistic philosophy.

At first glance, the figure appears massive, but its tapered form and dissolving fragments of wood give it an astonishing lightness. The material - wood in its natural structure - is fragmented by precisely placed incisions, holes and joints, so that the figure seems to float. The vertical dynamics reinforce the sense of dissolution, as if the figure were slowly merging with its surroundings or dissolving into space and time.

Hellweger's idea of transience is manifested here: the sculpture seems to be in a constant state of change, as a symbol of eternal becoming and passing. Its reduced formal language underlines the artistic appeal for mindfulness and frugality - an antithesis to the overload of our modern world.
